The other reviewers are right about the instructions, but I guess that if you are using one of these you are a reasonably practical sort of person so, whilst it took an hour, a basic tool box, two cups of tea and some pfaffing about, you only have to build it once. I was worried about the size of chain saw it could take but it holds my big Stihl 290 with no problems, and unlike a previous reviewer I don't find it difficult to mount the saw, you just need to make sure the clamp is facing down, and ensure the chain runs clear of the mount and safety guard. And boy, what a fantastic logging aid it is. I buy my firewood in chord length and my workrate has gone up six-fold with this compared to a standard saw horse. It feels safe and solid and my osteopath is delighted! I can totally recommend. 2. Item arrived un assembled and was a little fiddly to assemble alone. However, once together it is sturdy and stable. Very functional, well designed and I imagine, because of its construction, will be long lasting.
