This is the entry level chainsaw boot from Haix and has been developed to satisfy the middle market. Although the quality and build are typical of other HAIX products, its lower price has been acheived by removing some of the high-tech features of the other boots. The Blue Ridge does not have a 1 piece upper nor does it have Gore-Tex membrane. However, it will be difficult for other mid-priced boots to compete with this outstanding product. A good boot for all types of chainsaw work, above or on the ground.
